DID YOU KNOW? CULTURE AND HERITAGE Amongst other articles, the preamble of the 2010 constitution states, "We the people of Kenya -should be ......PROUD of our ethnic, cultural and religious diversity and determined to live in peace and unity as one indivisible sovereign nation". CHAPTER TWO, ARTICLE 11, CLAUSE 1 The constitution recognizes culture as the foundation of the nation and as the cumulative Civilization of the Kenyan people and nation. Comments As enshrined in our constitution, it is our responsibility to promote and preserve our way of life. We can celebrate or appreciate our culture and heritage through our: folklores, indeginous art, traditional foods, historical sites, artifacts and the  Abanyala boat rowing festival etc.
